URBAN MUSIC FOUNDATION
Connecting people with themselves and each other through creativity and the arts.
Emerging from Oxford's underserved estates in 2009, this grassroots organisation brings well over a decade of experience delivering music and art based projects in a diverse range of communities. UMF began as a way for it's founder, Rawz to share lyric writing skills that had helped him through hard times in his youth.
As its reputation grew, The Urban Music Foundation quickly began to diversify into wider fields of provision, and started to collaborate on art and community focused projects with like-minded groups.
Now experienced in working with people aged 5 to 95 in a range of settings, from local community centres to world famous museums, Through the Urban Music Foundation Rawz offers Mentoring, Tutoring, Music and Art based Workshops, Character Education projects, Public Engagement work, various types of Research, and many other youth, community and/or creativity focused endeavours.
